14th ATP1A3 Symposium

14th ATP1A3 Symposium

Paris, France | 24–26 September

The next ATP1A3 Symposium will take place in Paris at Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière, a hospital that has played a key role in the history of modern neurology. It is also where Prof. Jean Aicardi – the first neurologist to describe AHC – worked for many years.

The scientific programme is being organised by Eleni Panagiotakaki, Emmanuel Flamand-Roze and Boris Chaumette, with support from the AFHA (Association Française de l’Hémiplegie Alternante) Board. The meeting also honours the long-standing commitment of Mr. Dominique Poncelin, who served as president for 31 years and founded AFHA in 1991.

The scientific symposium will take place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, with presentations covering clinical care, research and new developments in AHC and ATP1A3-related disorders. In addition, Thursday 24 September is planned as a European family meeting. All AHC organisations and patient representatives are warmly invited, including those from outside Europe. More information about this meeting will be shared soon.
